On October 18, 2003 I will be running the Baltimore Half-Marathon as part of the Maryland chapter of Team in Training. Over 75% of the money that I raise during my training and fundraising will go directly to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Last year over 100,000 Americans were diagnosed with leukemia or other blood-related cancers. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is a non-profit, voluntary health organization whose mission is to cure leukemia and its blood-related cancers and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. The Society provides funding for research, public and professional education, advocacy, patient aid and community service programs.
